Step 5: Cleaning and Sanitizing

As part of the restoration process our certified technicians will also clean and sanitize any surfaces that may need it.

If the source of the water damage came from a contaminated water source or even if it came from a clean water source but sat for 24 or more hours before mitigation started there is a chance that surfaces and contents in the area of the damage will need to be cleaned.

At SERVPRO of Shakopee/Savage/Prior Lake our team is trained on the various cleaning techniques depending on the type of damage and the materials that need to be cleaned.
